OTBPMaps Hunting Maps

HUNTING MAP AGREEMENT

The following list of information is a complete list of the only layers OTBPMaps will illustrate on a custom hunting map for the cost and development fee listed under the “Prices & Payment” tab:

1. Cities
2. Hunting unit
3. Land Ownership
4. Roads & Water layers (as described under Disclaimers, Custom Hunting Maps)
5. Topographic shaded relief  (If you don't want shaded relief you must specify when ordering. Additional prints of your map with the shaded relief removed will be at the full price)  

OTBPMaps will illustrate these features according to the template they have in place.  Color or symbol changes will be considered extra and charged at the hourly rate listed in the “Prices & Payment” section.

OTBPMaps doesn't guarantee how the labeling will appear or display on the map. OTBPMaps will use their common template and methods to ensure that the labels, symbols, point, line, and polygon features meet OTBPMaps standards. 

Any other labeling will be considered extra and outside the original development cost as outlined.  UTM and Longitude and Latitude grids are predesigned and set to the OTBPMaps standard. We will not be able to make any adjustments or changes to our grid template.  If you have trouble seeing the grid we recommend that you highlight the tick marks with a permanent marker (sharpie).  You can also take a ruler and draw the grid on the map to make it stand out more.   

Any other data will be considered extra and the customer will be charged at the hourly rate listed in the “Prices and Payments” section.

All maps are created using the topographic shaded relief to stand out more. The customer may choose to have the topographic map shaded or not shaded when placing the order.  No adjustment to this layer will be made once the order is shipped.  If the customer decides they want one or the other after the order has be completed the customer with be charged the cost of the map and our hourly fee to change the order and reprint..

The roads will be illustrated in two ways: Highways will be in orange/black and all other roads will be a single black line.  There will not be separate symbol style or colors for four wheel drive and non-four wheel drive roads and trails (or any other types of trails and roads).  The road labels will be placed next to the road without any backing or highlight and will follow the common OTBPMaps template. We print the road layer on all our maps. The quality of the data depends on the agency and we have no control over the quality or labeling style

Special Instructions: If you want any other information or detailed work done to your custom map that isn't outlined in the Hunting Map Agreement we charge a $45.00 per hour fee for any work beyond what we have listed above.  With special orders, the development time can be three to four weeks; please allow enough time before the hunt.  Also, this service is only available depending on work load and other map orders.

Lamination: Lamination is only available through our online Adventure Station mapping services.  It is not one of the options we offer through our custom hunting map with land ownership service. 

Custom Hunting Map Prices

Mountain Man Members

Members will have access to the members’ store to purchase and download custom hunting maps with land ownership. There is no development fee for the downloadable maps.

• Membership Price:  $34.99 per year (Access to all member benefits)
• Member Development Fee:  $25.00 per hunting unit
• Multiple maps of one unit:  $25.00 for the first map; $20.00 for each additional map

• Shipping & Handling: USPS Priority – $6.00

Non-Members

•              Development Fee: $75.00 per hunting unit
•              Multiple maps of one unit:  $75.00 for the first map; $60.00 for each additional map

Additional Price for members and non-members:  All work that goes beyond the outlined services listed in the Hunting Map Agreement will be subject to an hourly rate of $45.00

Allow 2 to 3 weeks delivery depending on the time of year.  Orders between August and December can take up to 5 weeks.  Be aware that we may stop taking new orders in order to fill those we have already received. Members receive priority on custom map orders.
